Keelby bowls was formed in 2006 and officially opened by Amy Monkhouse.
We are a friendly club with an equal opportunities policy, we welcome new members of every age and ability. Members play socially and in the leagues where over the years they have been very successful. Some members have also enjoyed success in district and county competitions.
The club has sets of various size bowls for anyone who wants to have a go.
Keelby will participate in the following leagues for 2024
Grimsby and District EBF League Division 2 – plus Ross Trophy competition
Promoted to Grimsby and District EBA League Division 2
Promoted to EBA 9’s League Division 1
Members will have the opportunity to enter individual, pairs and triples competitions in the Grimsby League.
There is a large active pool of bowlers who play socially during the season.
Roll ups are on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 2pm to 4pm.
We hope to build on last years success and have various club competitions.
During the winter there is short mat bowling available in the pavilion and some members also play indoor bowls socially at Grimsby Leisure Centre.
